City Ups Ante in Collecting Obligations from Developers

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, attended the Joint Signing of the Minutes of Handover (BAST) for the Fulfillment of Obligations for the Handover of Social Facilities and Public Facilities (fasos-fasum) for the Second Quarter of 2024.

Its handover was conducted by the developers to the Jakarta Provincial Government at Great Hall, Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (7/30).

"I would like to thank the developers who have handed over the social and public facilities that are their obligations to the Jakarta Government. All of these social and public facilities will be additional assets. Hopefully, this moment will also encourage other developers to immediately complete their social and public facilities obligations by handing them over to the Jakarta Government," he expressed, as quoted by the Jakarta Government's press release.

Heru Appreciates Developer Acceleration Submitting Fasos-Fasum

By doing so, he explained, the developers would get many benefits.

"They are happy with this activity. Because their name is being reported. This means that residents know that the developer has submitted its obligations. Further, the Jakarta Government must care for and maintain the social and public facilities that have been handed over today. The Jakarta Government must increase the budget for the care and maintenance of social and public facilities in the planning 2025," he explained.

He also urged them to make communication with the Jakarta Government if they had difficulties in completing obligations or handover of fasos-fasum.

"The Jakarta Government doesn't want developers to have difficulties, as long as they are honest and open. If they are not open, we do not know what is happening in the field. If developers do not communicate frequently with us as the government that must protect you, then we cannot resolve obstacles or problems that occur in the field," he explained.

At the same activity, City Inspector Syaefulloh explained that based on the BPK audit financial report records for 2023, until December 30, 2023, the Jakarta Government has received 17,112,000 square meters of social and public facilities. So, there are remaining obligations that continue to be collected covering an area of ​​9,161,000 square meters.

"In last year's achievement, we succeeded in collecting social and public facilities obligations worth Rp 23.9 trillion. Then, for the first quarter of 2024, we also succeeded in collecting social and public facilities worth Rp 5.6 trillion," he explained.

As for Quarter II 2024, today the obligation of social and public facilities from developers will be submitted 24 BASTs worth Rp 4.35 trillion. They consist of 248,613-square-meter land worth Rp 4.06 trillion, 69,930-square-meter construction worth Rp 212 billion, and fulfillment of the obligation for the Location/Land Acquisition Principle Approval Letter (SP3L) by 2,370 square meters worth Rp 79 billion.

"The amount consists of the handover of 14 plots of land, then nine constructions and one fulfillment of SP3L obligations, with details in East Jakarta worth Rp 2.046 trillion, West Jakarta Rp 1.265 trillion, Central Jakarta Rp 627 billion, South Jakarta Rp 215.7 billion, and North Jakarta Rp 198 billion," he explained.

The BAST signing was followed by the submission of asset documents from the mayors and regents to the Jakarta Regional Asset Management Agency (BPAD) and continued with the submission of BAST to each Regional Apparatus. Thus, the social and public facilities assets submitted by the developers today can be directly recorded in the Regional Apparatus inventory list to be used according to their designation and their security maintained.
